Mutulu Shakur, born Jeral Wayne Williams on August 8, 1950, is a former Black Panther and activist who was involved in the Black Liberation Movement in the United States. He is the father of Sekiwake Shakur and also the stepfather of the late rapper Tupac Shakur.
Shakur was a member of the Republic of New Africa and the Black Liberation Army (BLA). He was involved in various activities during the 1970s and 1980s, including participating in armed struggles against law enforcement and political actions to advocate for the rights of African Americans. One of the most notable incidents involving Mutulu Shakur was his involvement in the 1981 Brink robbery in Nyack, New York.

In 1986, Mutulu Shakur was arrested and charged with multiple crimes, including conspiracy to commit armed robbery and murder.
