Man Quyum Miah – Yasmin Begum, 40, was found dead at a property in Globe Road, North East London at around 4.06 pm on Thursday after staff at the school became concerned when she did not arrive to pick up her children.

A man has appeared in court charged with murder and burglary after a mother-of-two was found stabbed to death in her Bethnal Green home while her children were at school.
Yasmin Begum, 40, was found dead at a property in Globe Road, northeast London at around 4.06 pm on Thursday after staff at the school became concerned when she did not arrive to pick up her children.

Chairing the hearing, Magistrate George Malouf said: ‘You are appearing here on the case of four matters, one of which is for the murder of Yasmin Begum. The matter will go to Old Bailey.
‘You will attend the Old Bailey on March 30 in the morning for the charge of murder and the hearing. In the meantime, you’ll be in custody.”

She was stabbed multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene. The post-Mortem report also concluded that her cause of death was sharp force injuries. The two kids are now without a mother. The information about their father is yet to be disclosed. Moreover, the authorities have not provided any details regarding the purpose of the killing.

The friend, who couldn’t believe the tragic news, added that the mother was a ‘very outgoing and spontaneous person, who would ‘go try anything’ and ‘had a big heart’.
A neighbor, 67, said: ‘I know she was supposed to pick up her children, two young boys, from the local school but did not come so they raised the alarm.

We reported till Monday the suspect was not arrested but now he is identified and arrested. It appears that after being arrested he was taken to custody and it has been updated that he was brought down to custody at Barkingside Magistrates court today.
