DJ and producer Pedro M. Muniz, well-known for his work in the dance music industry, has passed away.

One of Pedro’s friends shared the news on his official FaceBook page, the post reads,

” My dear long-time Friend Pedro M Muniz has a serious battle with cancer right now as most might know. I promised him I wouldn’t say anything last year about the situation. Now that it is public, I want to inform those who might not know. He is in a battle for his life right now. Keep him and the family in your prayers. From playing at Jackson with him to becoming great friends outside in our personal life, he is truly one of a kind. He needs everyone’s support at this time.”

Since 2003, Pedro M Muniz, also known as DJ/producer Pedro M in the dance music industry, has had an impact on Florida’s house scene.

Muniz, who was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and raised in South America, now calls Tampa, Florida his home, where he upholds the caliber of his reputation and musical output.
