While the Mueller’s BBQ restaurant fell out of business in 2006 owing to some financial troubles, they did make a comeback in 2011. The trailer had some chairs for customers, and the grilling was so good for the first customers that they became regulars at the restaurant. Similarly, he and his sister, LeAnn, started a tiny retailer in South Austin called “JMueller BBQ.”
