Jang Sung Rak was an illustrator and artist known for his work on the popular webtoon Solo Leveling. Solo Leveling, also known as Only I Level Up, is a web novel by Chugong. The novel was made into a webtoon adaptation and made into in KakaoPage on March 4, 2018.
The illustration on the webtoon was done by the CEO of Reduce Studio, Jang-Sung-Rak, also known as Dubu. Yen Press got licensed the novel in English. Similarly, it has been adapted into an anime series that will be released in 2023.

The Obituary statement was released by Redice Studio on July 25 and was written in Korean. In translation, it was reported that he had died from brain hemorrhage and had suffered from a chronic illness for a long time.
Similarly, in the obituary, it was also disclosed that the funeral of the artist Jang Sung-Rak will take place having members of the Solo Leveling artist’s family.
