Wilson released a statement from the family, saying, “We are all devastated by today’s tragedy. We love Jamari dearly.”He stated that the family does not know what triggered the incident and has requested privacy while grieving.
Around 12:30 p.m., a shooting happened inside Tanglewood Middle School near the front of the building. After fleeing and hiding not far from the school building, a suspect, also a male student, was apprehended.
