He was diagnosed with most malignancies twice, the first time while coaching Cleveland Browns running backs in his early forties.
Most tumors in his intestines and liver were discovered by doctors. He underwent chemotherapy and a surgical procedure before receiving the all-clear.
Doctors discovered a cancerous growth near Brown’s pancreas this time.
Brown has a career total of 4,300 running yards, 631 receiving yards, and 24 touchdowns in 99 games from 1991 to 1998.
