Former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson testified on President Donald trump’s action on Jan 6
Cassidy Hutchinson, a former White House employee, established herself as one of the most persuasive witnesses regarding Donald Trump’s irrational actions during the attack on the Capitol on January 6 during a two-hour testimony.
Cassidy Hutchinson recalled Jan’s scenes as she stated that although Trump and Meadows were aware that some of his supporters at the rally on January 6 had firearms and other weapons that would have stopped them from attending, Trump nonetheless authorized their admission. She testified that she had been informed that following his speech at the rally, Trump engaged in a physical altercation with a Secret Service agent inside the presidential limousine in an effort to get the agent to take him to the Capitol rather than back to the White House.
She claimed that in the days leading up to the Capitol attack, she overheard discussions within Trump’s inner circle at the White House about the involvement of two violent far-right groups that backed the president’s agenda.
