Bruce James Cassidy is a retired Canadian ice hockey player and a current National Hockey League Head Trainer of the Boston Bruins (NHL). He has played for the Blackhawks in the NHL as a defense lawyer.

1990-1997 Season
Cassidy signed with Alleghe HC in Italy after winning the turner cup at the IHL and played for two years with the Ice Hockey League Club in 1990-1992 and 1992-1993. Cassidy spent the season with Kaufbeuren of the German Hockey League between 1993 and 1994 after his tenure in Italy.
Cassidy then returned with the Indianapolis Ice to the Blackhawks organization, which was held in the Jacksonville Lizard Kings season of the ECHL between 1994 and 1997, prior to retiring as a player 10 games in the 1996–97 season, for head coaching work.
